I am a Sock and help me find my love...!!!

Hey All, let me introduce myself. I am sock and I keep your feet warm and protect you from all kind of shit that can harm your lovely feet. Here I am today narating my story of losing my beloved counterpart. I hope someone would read it and help me find my soulmate.

I lay there in the closet with other dirty clothes waiting for my turn to washed and reused again. My neighbours were a few soiled trousers and shirts and also I could see my community there, some other designed socks. All of us desperately waiting for our guardian to take us to the washer. The wash session was like a huge fair where we would meet a lot of relatives, friends and make few new relations. But like all other fairs, the crowd would be massive and there would be few bad people whom you need to be aware of.
One fine day, my guardian spared some time and took us to a her newly yet temporary washer. It looked quite different from the ones she normally took us to. I was very excited. I would experience some new swings and rides. I happy hugged my counterpart, the right foot sock. I asked her if she was excited and she happily nodded and was jumping to get inside the new white washer. Our guardian sorted us with our respective pairs and put is inside the washer. All my neighbours including me and my pair were thrilled. My guardian closed the door and put in some fresh aromatic detergent and turned on the washer after selecting warm water for our new ride. Slowly the water started falling on us with the detergent mixed. It felt just so good and perfect. Once the water was over us, the ride started. We swirled inside, once to the left and then to the right. Up and down, left and right, it just kept going on, I was enjoying it and so were all others. There was big smile on the right foot sock. I could slowly feel all the dirt being removed from over me and I could breathe in fresh air. This was a perfect ride. It went on for 1 hour. We enjoyed it but were tired and lay aside each other, waiting for our guardian to collect us. I was looking for the right foot sock but couldn't see her but I could hear her voice, talking to a blue colour shirt.
Time passed by, probably 2 hours but our guardian didn't come to take us. We all were dozing off to sleep, tired from the fun filled ride and then suddenly the door opened but a hand came in. I was happy, finally our guardian came, But the hand looked different. I wondered who is he? He just caught hold of our necks and threw us in the basket. My back hurt from been thrown down as I had fallen on the floor and not in basket. The man picked me and threw me in the basket. Most of us were hurt and didn't knew what was happening to us. We all became unconscious.
After some time when I woke up, it was our guardian looking at me with tears. I couldn't understand why she was sad. I thought of asking her, I tried getting up and saw she had arranged all the clothes in a pile with their pairs. I looked at my right to see how is the right foot sock doing and did she notice the guardian unhappy. I was surprised to see no-one on my right. I turned to see on the left and there was no-one. I got up and saw all other socks in the pairs. I freaked out. Sadness took over me too and I understood the reason my guardian was upset. I started crying and seeing that upsetting her even more.
Today, its 3 days after I lost my mate in that massive fair and I and my guardian daily go to the washer to check if someone by mistake took my partner but alas, we haven't found her yet.

My tears have dried up and so has my guardians pain. I knew how much she loved us both. We were favourite pair.
I have understood the meaning for the quote "What's meant to happen will surely happen". But I didn't realise I would lose my beloved in such a way.
A request to all the readers, if you find my counterpart, please help me be united with my love. My right foot Sock.

Life's greatest blessing...!!!

Its long since I wrote anything. So today I am just gonna write what is I have realised in a past few months when I was away in a hustle bustle of life.
Life gives you enough reasons to cry and it also give you plenty of reasons to laugh.

Its really hard when you lose a loved one and all of a sudden life changes. It feels so empty.
We don't realise the value of people and especially our family. We always take them as granted. There are times we ignore them or get pissed off with them due to various reasons. But the time we lose them is the time we realise what a big mistake we made.
A lot many of us stay away from our parents and grandparents. We speak to them in months and visit them in years maybe. But is that really something we should be doing? I leave it to you to answer.
What harm is it to give them a call and speak to them for a few minutes. How much does it takes to wish them a Good-morning. After all, they are the ones because of whom we are here. Some people won't agree with me and I won't argue over it for sure.

I personally have a lot of arguments with my parents but in the end I know their value in my life and how important it is for me to understand their point of view.
I have spent days thinking and analysing what impact it has on me and I just know it now.
I am incomplete without them and to share my thoughts with them makes me more powerful.
The strength that I receive when I know they are behind me as my backbone is just tremendous.
I am what I am because of them today. :)

Be brave to say a Goodbye...!!!

Today I write this blog with mixed emotions. This is a learning and that's the reason I am writing it down.
When we move out from our native place in search of living and start a new life in a new city, the people we meet have a great impact on our lives. It matters a lot how we interact and jell up with the crowd. The same happened with me when I moved to Bangalore. The first of many people I met were the one's from the place I started working. Being in IT industry you don't expect people to be very helpful to you and neither did I expect that. Initial days were very tough, especially when you have no clue of the local language. It took some 2 months to make friends or at least start talking to people and make them realize your presence.
You may have heard life is cruel, Yes, It is cruel as times. But its worth it.
Trying to understand the people around you is one of the most difficult tasks. When you have no freaking idea what people on the table are talking because you don't understand the language, then yes life seems cruel.

Anyways, finally my communication started with people and I made a few friends. Life came on track after some 6 months. Work is enjoyed when people you work with are fine and so happened with me. I worked with some decent people.

Today, when I bid farewell to the organization, I was excited about my new endeavor, but also felt a moment where I realized I wont be coming back to this place and work with my same team, have lunch with my buddies. Moving on is important. But what matters is how gracefully you move on.

No Trust = No Relationship

Necessity of each relation is Trust. The basic foundation of each and every relation, may it be friendship, love, employee-employer or a married couple, is TRUST. We look forward or are dependent of anyone for anything is only because we have some sort of trust and confidence on that person. The bond between two individuals can only be strong if there is Trust in it.
Trust is nothing that can flourish in a day or two but it takes time to establish. Its asks for ample amount of time for this Trust to grow and make an unbreakable bond.
When two people stay together, near and close, it is easy to communicate and clear conversations but once distances grow and people our apart then one of the biggest issue is lack of trust of DOUBT.

How hard it becomes when the the huge tower of any relationship shivers because the foundation of trust is missing. If the bricks are of lies then no one can save the house from collapsing.

Sooner or later all of us understand the importance of trust and the negativity that doubts bring into relationship. Distant relationship stay strong if the commitment and trust is pure enough. Its very difficult to accept someone once the trust breaks and also it becomes a misery to even think about the betrayal.

My scars make me what I am...!!!

Broken into fragments, tears in eyes, aching heart, a doubt on yourself.. all such emotions and thoughts come hurrying towards us when we end relations and move away from people who played an important role in our life.

People don't stay with us forever and nor do any relations come with a warranty card. But still it becomes hard for us to face broken relations. We get ditched, cheated and have broken hearts and all this take us into a state of trauma. But is this the end? Why after such encounters we detach our self from some feelings. Why do we get scared of falling in love again or why do we stop mingling with people.  Well.. I don't have the answer to this question.

I have often heard and read that we should move on.. The show must go on. Yes, it does goes on.. but it takes time. Recomposing our self to accept some realities takes time. But somewhere in this process we do lose a important part of our self. Losing will not be a appropriate word.. instead I should say in this process we find a part of our self. We know what makes us weak and what makes us strong.

As an individual who has faced these emotions, I feel its a part of growing. All these things makes me think the way I think today. After many heart breaks and ditched and cheated upon many times, I have become an individual with my own set of rules and have my own self-respect. I still do fall in love, still face heart-breaks, still cry out my eyes, still go in low and sad moods, but in the end of it all, I am strong, stronger than I was ever before.
I walk with my head held high. I have experience of things. I have come out of traumas. I have lived it. I have pain. I have love. I have tears. I have emotions. I have scars and they make me what I am today.
