Its a bright day.. awesome weather... just the perfect one to go on a walk and feel the air. So I just thought to tighten up my clothes and go out for a little stroll.
Out on the roads I see a puddles of water.. splashing into them just reminds me of my childhood days when jumping into them used to the most ultimate fun. Walking ahead I come to halt at the signal which is on my way to a park which was my destination. Looking around I felt how our lives have changed.
How earlier we use to wait for the monsoons and the rains so that we can feel the rain.. feel the drops.. but now we wait for the rains to stop so that we can move out to complete our unfinished and pending tasks. How earlier we use to love getting drenched in rain and now he wait to avoid getting drenched. How a sunny day use to bring positive energies and now sunny days make us stay indoors.
Well... leaving all my thoughts aside I walked along the road to reach my destination. To my astonishment I only saw all elderly people and just a few teenagers. Some of them were in mid of some yoga while others were busy in their own thoughts. I kept walking in the park to observe more people and enjoy the beauty of the weather while I rarely get to feel in the weekdays, when I am caught inside in the office with artificial air.
Moving on I decided to get seated on bench from where I could catch the glimpse of mostly all the people in that park.
Being there for some time made me realize many more things. Starting with the change in the life in few years to the beauty of the weather and how I miss it. Going down the memory lane, I felt a bit nostalgic but I tried coming out of that and wanted to cherish the moment I am in.
An hour passed and I just didn't realize it. It started drizzling and each drop made me feel peaceful. More than I had felt in last few days. I just loved it and on the way back to my place I only felt it was a day well spent.
PS: The motive of this post is to emphasize on the need of spending time amidst nature.
