Dehradun, often called as Doon Valley, geographically located in the State of Uttarakhand and situated in the foothills of Himalyas is one of the cities I just love belonging to. Being away for sometime has made me me miss the city and here I jot down few things that I most remember about Dehradun.

SCENIC BEAUTY AND WEATHER

The scenic beauty of Dehradun is mesmerising. From the valley the look of the mountains all around and on the outskirts the peace and look of the city is just beyond what words can describe. And how can i forget the look of Dehradun from Mussorie road, it is something that most of feel is just beautiful.

The weather is just awesome. Rain, clouds, sun all are in the best proportion.

HANGOUT ON MUSSORIE ROAD

The famous Mussorie road and maggi points which are one the best points to hangout and recollect memories and create few more new rememberable ones.

FAMOUS INSTITUTIONS

IMA, FRI, IIP etc  being the major attractions which add to the heritage and popularity of dehradun. Both these institutions have beautiful structures.

MAIN MARKET

Paltan bazar can never be replaced by malls. The evening strolls is also inviting to the youngsters to do some window shopping and enjoy a ice-cream at Gaylords.

WATER FALL

How can I forget the water springs. Shastradhara, Gucci pani, Lachhiwala and various springs like Shikhar falls, Bhatta falls attract a lot of people to enjoy in midst of day routines.

PEACE

The peace of the city is just amazing for meditations and the calmness attracts a lot of people to have Dehradun as a place to rejoice.

OUTSKIRTS AND NERABY PLACES

A few kilometres drive and you can go to the well known Mussorie, Dhanaulti and its outskirts , Rishikesh and its beautiful surroundings and also Ponta sahib cannot be forgotten.

The stroll on the mall road that one can never say a 'NO' to.

These are just the few things that people who have stayed in Dehradun will agree with. Each one of us who has spent some time may that be days or years in Dehradun will always cherish going back

 Alas, this is what every adolescent feels. There is always a span of time in which we feel unstoppable. We just fly… fly to never come down.. fly with the ambition to touch the sky… we just have the urge to move forward and to never stop…amazing is that feeling. 

But, where does this feeling vanishes off after sometime. Why does the energy drains out?

Its not that we forget what we wish but with time the flair goes away and this is what is we need to control. We need to keep the fire burning. The fire to get keep flying and keep moving forward till the last breath and this fire is what distinguishes us from all people. It not easy but it is not impossible.

Life is full of problems.. but staying happy and smiling is what makes us cope up with everything. Tensions or pain is in everyone’s life but you never know when your smile can bring a smile on someone’s face and make that person forget his/her problem for sometime and what is more beautiful then making someone happy even if its for a small time.

A smiling face is always adored and it makes us look beautiful and who doesn’t like beauty. So live it up and smile even if their are problems coz a smile lasts for some seconds but the memory of it lasts forever..!!!

The World is a Stage and We are the Actors....!!!

Life is a theatre and we all play our roles. We have the whole world as audience and it depends on us who we give tickets of the front row. It our choices and its all unto us as to how to decorate the hall for our performance. Each one of us adds spices as per our taste in the script given to us. The ups and downs are the symbol telling us that we are still alive. 

Often I see people relating their life to some movie or song. They feel exactly the same as some character. The circumstances seems similar to the one faced by us. Hence, we often end up relating to Theatre. 

This life is full of surprises. The twist and turns in the movie makes us wonder and sometimes we end up with a OHHHHH or sudden reactions of shock, surprise or happiness. All of us need to play roles and the better we act the happier is the public. But behind the curtains is a stage.. the BackStage where each one of us knows the real us. The mask is off and our originality comes out that will again relate our life to some movie. 

A new day, new start but again amidst the big mystery of theatre. We cannot run away from the acting but we can bring life to our roles. Get involved. Get going. Play it and the Theatre will be SUCCESS.
